The Annual Meeting of New Champions 2010 in Tianjin ended on a high note Wednesdy evening, as the Technology Pioneers were recognized in the final plenary entitled "Shaping the Future" and moderated by Thomas L. Friedman of the New York Times.

Most of us hurried from an overcrowded IdeasLab session where 5 Tech Pioneers active in Energy and Environment presented their innovations in Pecha Kucha style, a presentation format whereby each presenter is given limited amount of time to go through a defined number of slides.

During the final plenary which focused on the types of innovations shaping our future, Technology Pioneers were highlighted during a 90 second video underscoring them as a driving force of this innovation, and highlighting some of the issues they help addressing.
