Session Highlight: World Economic Brainstorm

Imagine this: One gigantic room, 29 tables filled experts, thought leaders and CEOs all ready to tackle the world's most important problems.
In this brainstorming session we challenged our global network to come up with 10 keywords that described the issues that we need to address immediately. Could we capture the plethora of opinions?
The debate was lively and sometimes heated. Each person came with their own prioritization of what they felt should drive the agenda. The mix of business leaders, academics and thought leaders resulted in a wide variety of perspectives and views.
In an innovative format, we took the submitted keywords and turned them into a visual tag cloud to show which issues were most often mentioned:
What we learned:
One of the biggest challenges we faced when performing this exercise was the problem of a consistent taxonomy to refer to issues. For example: Climate Change, and Climate were not recognized by wordle as the same issue. However, it was a trade off we had to make due to the limited amount of time.
As a comparison exercise I re-ran the submitted key words through a simpler Wordle algorithm that evaluated each word individually (instead of as part of a phrase) and created this:
