Entrepreneurship report calls for overhaul of education systems

The Forum’s Educating the Next Wave of Entrepreneurs report is a call to action aimed at a complete transformation of global education systems. The idea is to create a blueprint from which governments and education authorities can maximise the potential of the spirit of entrepreneurship and unlock entrepreneurial capabilities to meet the global challenges of the 21st century.

The report has been launched by the Forum’s Global Education Initiative which will use it as a basis for discussions at the upcoming regional meetings in the Middle East, Africa and India.

I like entrepreneurial, but not using resources, constant building of production and pushing the short-term at the expense of the long-term. What do our experts say about building low impact economies as part of a World culture? The arts have amazing value, as does football, media and education. It is the latter – education – which I propose as a cultural shift for humankind. Can we not invest in bridging the valuing education gap by changing the emphasis from academic to amazing, exciting, sexy, broader status, current and/or fashion-valid?

That is very ture, I came to that conclusion about 5 or more years ago and went into business myself and I am doing much better, although I am working longer hours..lol… at least i am putting it into my own business.
