Le Monde and Les Echos blog Davos as well

Journalists Eric Le Boucher of Le Monde and Jean-Marc Vittori are blogging on their respective blogs: Le Monde Davos blog and Les Echos Davos blog. Blogging and press are starting to merge… Do you think we will still see a difference between a blog and online press in five years ? My bet is that the entire online press will adapt and for example accept comments in all articles it is already starting to happen, on the other side the best bloggers will get hired by large publications or launch new ones.

fit into this vision?
My assumption is that by the same token companies will still stick to the classical PR releases even though anyone knows that it’s simply PR, Newspapers/The Press will still hold on to their traditional notion of “mastering information”.
Just have a look at the recent “Du bist Deutschland” media campaign a nice example how Blogs and Journalism “fit” :

Do I understand well that the Davos Blog system subscribes only its participants ? what about the opinion of populations ???
As a simple citoyen du monde I would like to have the opportunity to say a word and participate to such a Blog system
