For years we have heard stories of what individual businesses are doing about HIV/AIDS or pronouncements on what they should do. The Global Health Initiative of the World Economic Forum has conducted a global survey to tell us what businesses are really thinking and doing.

The results? Businesses wait until rates of HIV are really high before they respond to protect their workers. Businesses in general have a very thin fact base with which to decide whether and how to react. Proven models exist, however, to guide business leaders.

What should we each be doing to ensure next year’s results show more action?
